Information for participants

Who can attend IIS2024

Most attendees are expected to be graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early career faculty and research staff working in fields relevant to nuclear fusion. Although the agenda will focus on topics related to magnetic fusion diagnostics and data science, attendees are not required to be working in this field. Anyone from all over the world can apply to IIS2024.

Note that IIS2024 will be held exclusively in person. No remote participation will be allowed.
Poster sessions will be scheduled for attendees to publicize their own research. Active participation in the poster sessions is encouraged.

Lodging and lunch will be provided for every attendee during the school, if needed. A tour of National Institute for Fusion Science is scheduled during the school.
